Join the Old Growth Tree Society and 50501 at the R.I. Statehouse for a rally to oppose the March 1 executive order to increase U.S. timber production; say no to the Fix Our Forests Act, which would accelerate logging on federal land; pass the Old Growth Forest Protection Act, which would create the first-ever state law to protect public forests in Rhode Island; and oppose the Forest Parity Act, a bill that would create a publicly subsidized timber industry in Rhode Island.
