Lisa Starr, former Rhode Island Poet Laureate, will be the featured poet at the Jamestown Philomenian Library. Starr celebrates and explores the humor, beauty, love, grief, and loss implicit in being human. The event is free and open to the public. The opening voices are Catherine DeNunzio and Louis Gabordi, widely published poets who regularly give readings in Connecticut and Rhode Island. After the readings, Starr, DeNunzio, and Gabordi will engage with members of the audience.
