The Rhode Island Environmental Education Association will host Lobbying 101, a practical, beginner-friendly Zoom workshop for anyone interested in helping advance environmental education legislation in Rhode Island. The session will include a breakdown of what advocacy and lobbying really mean, what to do and not do when representing a nonprofit organization, and how to engage legislators with confidence, and will be interactive, with plenty of time for questions and discussion throughout.
