Growers from across Rhode Island gathered in the fields of Brandon Family Farm on July 7 to trade tips and learn about organic pest and disease management. At the event, organized by the University of Rhode Island Cooperative Extension program and the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Rhode Island, farmer Alby Brandon showed nearly 50 people around his West Kingston farm to share his strategies and start a conversation among organic growers.
