The Rhode Island Forest Conservator’s Organization (RIFCO) will conduct its annual spring program with a guided walk in the Great Swamp Management Area. Participants will view of the state’s habitat manipulation projects to benefit bird species and the New England cottontail, including a recent cut that has just been completed. Gather at the trailhead parking area located beyond the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Fish & Wildlife office at 277 Great Neck Rd. in South Kingstown, R.I.
