Join the Hopkinton Land Trust at Canonchet Preserve (rain date: Sunday, June 8) to celebrate the arrival of Poetry of the Wild in Hopkinton — a public art and nature project by ecological artist Ana Flores. This project invites visitors to take a walk and connect with the landscape through the installation of sculptural boxes, each containing a poem. This event will include a short trail walk to two of the sculptural poetry boxes and poetry readings by featured poets Wanda Hopkins and Miles Hardingwood. The group will also place journals inside the boxes as a way to officially open the installations for community reflection and engagement. This event is free and all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
