Scientists, naturalists, community members, students, and gardeners are invited to conduct a survey of the natural history of Peace and Plenty Community Garden at a summer BioBlitz. The garden will be in full summer mode, which will ensure lots of interesting discoveries. Peace and Plenty Garden hosts 55 garden plots along with perennial food corridors, a mulch corridor, a compost row, a meadow in the making, and flower and pollinator islands. The garden is a haven for urban wildlife, native plants and non-native that have both culinary and medical benefits. A “Science Central” will be set up by colleagues at 15 Minute Field Trips. Please RSVP to Doug at [email protected].
