Join the Metcalf Institute for its 2025 Leeson Lecture: “Just Sustainabilities in Policy, Planning and Practice,” a talk by Dr. Julian Agyeman, author and professor of urban and environmental policy and planning at Tufts University, whose research focuses on environmental and food justice as well as the nexus of food and immigration. Agyeman will outline the concept of just sustainabilities as a response to the “equity deficit” of most sustainability thinking and practices. All members of the community are invited to this free talk. Books will be available for purchase and author signing. Parking is available at 218 South Ferry Road and 15 Pier Road, Narragansett.
