The Harvest Market has a new location this year: Sakonnet Vineyard in Little Compton. This event marks the vineyard’s 50th anniversary weekend and combines a specialty farmers market with a community gathering. There will be more than 75 vendors showcasing fresh foods, artisanal products, fine art, and unique handmade goods. “Tent Talks” also return, where local experts will share insights on topics like beekeeping, regenerative farming practices, the history of the vineyard, winemaking, and more. Lynn Davignon of the Rhode Island Beekeepers Association will offer a 30-minute talk titled “All About Honey Bees: Who Lives in the Hive and What Happens During the Different Seasons.”
