Destruction of Natural World Fast-Tracked to Appease Fossil Fuel CEOs
April 17, 2025
The Mad King, corrupt, probably since birth, and blind to everything but himself, has sicced his attorney general on those working to address the climate crisis, ordering his puppet to stop the enforcement of state laws that aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. But, sure, offshore wind is what breaks Mother Nature’s back.
Last week’s executive order is the latest move by the regime to ramp up domestic fossil fuel production and push back against climate policies.
The EO came just hours after the Mad King issued orders to increase U.S. coal production. Under the four orders, the Mad King abuses emergency powers to allow older coal-fired power plants, typically of the more polluting variety, scheduled for retirement to keep burning. The Mad King has also directed federal agencies to identify coal resources on federal lands, lift barriers to coal mining, and prioritize coal leasing on U.S. lands.
The April 8 executive order targeting states calls out Vermont’s Climate Superfund Act, which requires the biggest fossil fuel polluters to pay into a fund to cover the costs of preparing for and recovering from climate disasters. It also directs the AG to identify state laws that address environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, environmental justice, and carbon emissions and take action to block them.
“Many States have enacted, or are in the process of enacting, burdensome and ideologically motivated ‘climate change’ or energy policies that threaten American energy dominance and our economic and national security,” according to the Mad King’s ideologically motivated EO.
No one throws a bigger temper tantrum than the Mad King. No one.
The order complained about laws in New York and Vermont that fine fossil fuel corporations for their contribution to climate change, California’s cap-and-trade policy, and lawsuits by states that have sought to hold energy companies accountable for their role in igniting the climate crisis.
The Mad King is doing what the fossil fuel industry paid him to do: fatally gash the renewable energy sector.
The regime has issued orders to open up more federal land and waters for fossil fuel extraction, but suspended renewable energy development in this same space.
The Mad King calls wind energy “disgusting” but praises dirty sedimentary deposits of combustible carbon as “beautiful clean coal.”
The regime’s secretary of the interior visited two coal mines in Alabama last week, where he parroted the Mad King’s commitment to “clean, beautiful coal.”
What the puppet didn’t mention was Warrior Met Coal’s horrible safety and environmental record, which includes thousands of safety violations issued under both Republican and Democratic administrations. The billionaire cabinet member also ignored the death of Aaron Haley, a 34-year-old miner killed on the job in 2023 because, according to an investigation by federal safety officials, the company didn’t keep equipment in safe operating condition.
The regime has granted about 70 coal-fired power plants a two-year exemption from federal requirements to reduce emissions of toxic chemicals such as arsenic, benzene, and mercury.
As the regime pushes fossil fuel workers back into dirty coal mines and power plants, its staff and funding cuts to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have hit coal miners’ health care particularly hard.
The Mad King doesn’t care about anyone, not even his cabinet puppets, the regime’s co-dictator, or his fellow MAGAs. To him, everyone is expendable.
The regime has withdrawn from international talks about advancing decarbonization in the shipping sector, threatening “reciprocal measures” to offset any fees charged to U.S. ships.
The Mad King plans to relax limits on pollution from cars, saying the move wouldn’t “mean a damn bit of difference to the environment.” In reality, the transportation sector is one of the largest sources of U.S. climate emissions, accounting for about 30%.
His vision is as impaired as Peter Alviti’s, Rhode Island’s trapped in the 1950s director of transportation.
The regime’s secretary of transportation is afraid of public transit, telling Fox Propaganda, “The truth is, transit across America is dangerous. And these liberals — liberal mayors — they want everybody out of cars and into trains but they made the trains unsafe so nobody really wants to ride them … even big men don’t want to ride the subway at those times of night.”
In reality, cars are the most dangerous motorized transportation option — their passenger vehicle death rate per 100,000,000 miles is about 50 times higher than for buses and some 17 times higher than for trains. I suspect, though, the reality-TV-mimbo-turned-transporation-expert Sean Duffy was referring to the Black and brown bogeymen running amok in blue cities.
MAGA madness (and its occupying racism) is occurring as the planet careens toward a dangerous global hearing scenario: 3 degrees Celsius (5.4 degrees Fahrenheit) increase in temperature.
In this world, every single coral reef is dead. Entire regions of the planet are too heated for human life. Food shortages are much more serious. About 40% of the world’s economy is wiped out.
To address the climate emergency we fuel, the regime is cutting about $4 million in federal funding for climate change research at Princeton University, claiming the work promoted “exaggerated and implausible climate threats” and increased “climate anxiety” among young Americans.
The White House is also ending funding for the body that produces the federal government’s climate assessment, which summarizes the impacts of rising global temperatures on the United States. The next report was due by 2027. The assessment plays a key role in local and national decision-making about agriculture, energy production, and land and water use.
But, wait, there is more. You can never have too much ignorance. The regime is seeking to end climate research conducted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency. The Mad King is prepared to tell Congress to eliminate NOAA’s climate research centers and fire hundreds of federal and academic climate scientists who track and study human-driven global heating.
The Environmental Protection Agency is planning to eliminate long-standing requirements for polluters to track and report their emissions of heat-trapping gases.
MAGA depravity goes beyond slashing funding, destroying agencies, and ignoring data. “Safe drinking water” and “affordable housing” are just two of the 100 or so words and phrases now banned at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Who knew safe drinking water was too woke?
When it comes to the climate crisis, there are a number of bad words and phrases that can’t be uttered by the USDA: “greenhouse gas emissions,” “methane emissions,” “solar energy,” and “geothermal.”
In a big middle finger to Mother Nature, the regime last week moved to weaken protections for migratory birds threatened by industrial activities, including oil and methane operations. But I thought the Mad King was concerned about birds? Or does his faux worry and that of the anti-wind crowd only apply to wind turbines?
The regime has reportedly decided, despite a federal court ruling that says otherwise, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act “does not apply to the accidental or incidental taking or killing of migratory birds.”
The Mad King is also considering an executive order that would fast-track permitting for deep-sea mining in international waters and let mining companies bypass a U.N.-backed review process.
When this junior-high experiment is finished, what will this country and the world actually look like?

Frank, your disgust with Trump and his henchmen is justified, but Trump made no secret of his climate views or his anti-environment, anti-science views. (plus his disreard for rule of law, lack of compassion etc) I can’t help it, psychologically, I’m more angry at the voters who voted for him anyway, and am also appalled at the failure of the environmental movement to be effective in even raising our issues in the election, a failure that is barely being addressed
I agree with Barry, we all knew what Trump is, and as a right-leaning environmentally conscious Independent, I was appalled by the Democrats lack of focus on environmental issues. Instead, all we heard about was abortion rights and LGBT issues. And from what I’m seeing, the far Left’s concerns are still those issues. Wake up! Our planet is being plundered!
