The New England Chapter of ISA is pleased to announce that the 34th annual New England Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture Tree Climbing Championship will be held at the Rhode Island Masonic Youth Center at Buttonwoods Park, Warwick. Tree-climbing competitions demonstrate the working conditions of arborists in the field, and helps provide the public with a better understanding of the skills it takes to properly climb and care for trees. Climbing categories include: aerial rescue; belayed speed climb; work climb; ascent event;
throwline; and master’s challenge. There will be activities and a tree climb for children as well.
