Barrington resident Lisa Watts dreamed for years about riding her bike up the East Coast, connecting the dots of her life and living simply out of two panniers and her handlebar bag. Watts will read from her travel memoir, “Crossing Bridges: What Biking Up the East Coast Taught Me About Life After 60,” about finally biking the 3,000-mile East Coast Greenway, from Key West to Canada. She was 58 at the time and biked with her long-time friend and Lincoln resident Deirdre Bird, then 67.
