Join the Rhode Island Environmental Education Association (RIEEA) for a Tide to the Land workshop led by Beth Alaimo at Ocean Hour Farm in Newport. Ocean Hour Farm is a living center for education, research, and demonstration of regenerative agriculture, showcasing the vital connection between healthy land and a thriving ocean. During a guided tour of the active farm, discover how regenerative practices can restore ecosystems while producing nourishing food and fiber. Along the way, participants will learn about Ocean Hour Farm’s educational programs and see firsthand how its integrated landscape works together to build healthy soil, sequester carbon, filter stormwater, and support resilient communities. Refreshments will be provided and a stipend will be offered.
