There’s a colorful new meadow taking shape along the Woonasquatucket River Greenway at Goldsmith Street. Over the past year, thousands of native pollinator plants have been installed at this spot in Johnston, creating habitat for bees, butterflies, birds, and other wildlife while transforming the riverfront into a vibrant community space. Join the Goldsmith Friends Group for Meadow Madness, a series of community gatherings held one Saturday through October a month to learn about native plants, pollinators, and meadow ecosystems while connecting with neighbors and enjoying the Greenway together.
