Join The Watch Hill Conservancy for a guided tour that celebrates a decade of stewardship in the Napatree Point Conservation Area. Led by Napatree Science Advisor Dr. Peter Paton, the walk will take participants on a journey along the shore of Napatree to discover the diverse bird species that call this area home. With a staggering 302 species of birds observed in the Conservation Area, Napatree has been designated as a Globally Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society. This program is a unique opportunity for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers to deepen their understanding of the rich avian biodiversity in this location.
Lasting approximately 90 minutes, this program will involve a leisurely walk of about 2.5 miles on sandy terrain. This program is designed for individuals aged 15 and older, and participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
