SUMMARY:Scientific Storytelling for Environmental Advocates
DESCRIPTION:If facts and good policy were enough to protect the environment\, the environment would be protected. Environmental researchers and advocates can learn to craft compelling stories that connect with lawmakers beyond facts and complex policy. Environmental advocates are passionate about science\, but are competing with misinformation campaigns and every other bills in the R.I. state legislature\, leading to frustration\, despair\, and disengagement. Stories are (scientifically!) proven to be the best method of connecting with each other to make a compelling case on what you care about. Learn how to break down environmental policy to elements lawmakers truly care about and develop compelling narratives. Group rates are available.
