SUMMARY:Writing About Place: A Guided Hike with the Hopkinton Land Trust
DESCRIPTION:This guided hike is part of the Writing About Place collaborative series\, connecting landscape\, poetry\, and close observation on conserved land. By deepening how we notice\, describe\, and connect with the landscapes around us\, writing can also strengthen our understanding of why conservation and stewardship matter to our communities. This program includes stops at two Poetry of the Wild installations along the trail at Canonchet Brook Preserve\, featuring poems by Miles Hardingwood and George Eliot. Along the way\, participants will be invited to pause and write\, while also learning more about the Hopkinton Land Trust\, which protects over 1\,400 acres of working farmland\, forests\, wildlife habitat\, and scenic landscapes across Hopkinton.
