SUMMARY:Geology of Napatree Walk
DESCRIPTION:Led by a Watch Hill Conservancy science advisor\, Bryan Oakley\, the Geology of Napatree Walk will explain in detail the geological features of Napatree Point Conservation Area and how they have and continue to influence present day conditions. Participants will learn how the geology of Napatree can help us understand the crucial minerals and natural resources that allow Napatree to withstand climate impacts. This program is designed to last 90 minutes so participants can utilize the free parking along Bay Street. Rain will cancel these events. Program cancellations will be communicated via email.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Charlestown Land Trust to remove litter and trash along Charlestown Town Beach and around protected properties on Ninigret Pond. Enjoy a morning outdoors with fellow community members and make a positive impact on ther local environment. Free Charlestown Land Trust winter hats will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Coffee and light refreshments will also be provided. This event is free but RSVPs are requested.
