SUMMARY:Charlestown Land Trust's Annual Summer Party
DESCRIPTION:Join the Charlestown Land Trust at the Nordic Lodge in Charlestown for a summer celebration with live music\, a raw bar\, dinner\, and a silent auction\, all in support of protecting the landscapes that make Charlestown so special. Tickets are $95 per person. Every ticket\, every donation\, and every bid at the auction helps the land trust continue its mission to protect open space in town.

SUMMARY:Summer Bat Night
DESCRIPTION:Bring the whole family and join the RIDEM Division of Fish & Wildlife to participate in a bat colony count. Learn about R.I.’s unique bat species and the conservation work being done to help these commonly misunderstood mammals. Kids are invited to make a bat craft before the bats take to the night sky. All participants are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and get comfortable as they count bats flying by. This program is free\, but registration is required.
