WWCC Spring Planting Program

The Warwick Wildlife and Conservation Commission will kick off its spring planting program at the Warwick Public Library on Sandy Lane. The theme of this presentation is Wings of Life: Monarchs, Bees and Your Spring Garden. Commissioner Amy Ottilige, who has been raising monarchs and other butterflies since 2008, will share her experience starting a spring garden for monarchs and pollinators. Attendance is free and open to all ages. Informative handouts about gardening and native plant selection, photos, and kids’ activity sheets will be available. Ready-to-go packs of starter plants just in time for your garden will be awarded as door prizes.
