Rabbits, groundhogs, and deer are the bane of many gardeners. While these critters may seem impossible to manage, there are measures you can take to defend your garden. As frustrating as these fuzzy felons may be, they are important to Rhode Island’s ecosystem. This session will give you tools to protect your garden, and it will cover the rules and regulations for hunting and trapping on private property as well as the New England cottontail project and deer program. This will be a hybrid workshop in partnership with the North Kingstown Free Library. Join in-person at the library or online. This program is free, but registration is required.
