SUMMARY:Warren Resilience Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join the Rhode Island Sea Grant for a 2-mile walking tour of Warren\, R.I.\, with a focus on resilience. There will be a king tide that morning\, and attendees can check out its impacts on Market Street\, and learn how to use the MyCoast RI app to help track flooding. The walk will look at shoreline access areas and discuss Warren’s history as well as a new research and outreach project based at the University of Rhode Island that is working with Warren to better understand community concerns related to flooding and to explore potential solutions.
