Help us care for the trees in Miantonomi Park. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help care for the beautiful trees at Miantonomi Park in Newport, R.I.. As a volunteer, you’ll help with tasks like pruning, mulching, and general tree maintenance to ensure the health and longevity of the park’s green spaces. Each Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon, we will be caring for Newport’s city trees by mulching, pruning, and watering as needed. Volunteers are needed weekly for this recurring opportunity to make a difference in Newport’s urban forest. Volunteers receive NTC T-shirts. Tools will be provided.
