Join us for the second talk in this year’s Spanish for Environmental Justice series, where local activists will discuss pressing environmental challenges in our communities and strategies for addressing them. This session will feature Jonathan de Jesús, community policy advocate for Progreso Latino. As the child of a hard-working undocumented migrant, Jonathan is personally committed to advocating for low-income and immigrant families. He will share his work on key initiatives, including organizing for the passage of driver’s licenses for undocumented residents, expanding healthcare for undocumented children, advocating for tenant rights, and leading this year’s RIPTA campaign during the legislative session. This series of talks is conducted in Spanish.
