The three sessions of this workshop are as follows:\nSession 4: Biochar: What it is and Why it Matters\, Jeanne Heston\, director of marketing and communication\, Quonset Soil Solutions\nSession 5: Biochar Benefits: What the Science Says\, Rebecca Nelson Brown\, professor of Plant Sciences and Sustainable Agriculture\nSession 6: Practical Applications of Biochar on a Small Rhode Island Farm\, Gina Thurn\, Our Kids Farm in Exeter\, R.I.\nThis workshop is free to RIFCO members and $10 for nonmembers.\n\n\n
