SUMMARY:RIFCO Summer Twilight Walk
DESCRIPTION:The Rhode Island Forest Conservators Organization is holding a Summer Twilight Walk along Blitzkrieg Trail in the Arcadia Management Area to view the shaded fuel break created by the RIDEM Forestry Division to minimize fire risks and help protect the forests in the Wood River watershed. How does wildlife habitat benefit from this practice? Can property owners do the same on their properties to protect improvements and minimize fire risks that can impact water quality? Participants will meet at the intersection of Arcadia Road and Blitzkrieg Trail\, located south of the Wood River crossing in Hopkinton\, R.I.
