The Rhode Island Flood Mitigation Association (RIFMA) is gearing up for its annual meeting and conference. This year’s theme is “Flooding, Public Perception, and Disaster Reform.” As flooding intensifies, public perception shifts and drives policy change. This year’s keynote speaker, Claire Jubb, will share lessons in resiliency against natural disaster and post-disaster recovery. Come connect with flood hazard practitioners coastal managers, planners, engineers, civic organizations, nonprofits, land trusts, local, state, and regional tribes, and federal government officials.
