SUMMARY:Meteorology and Forest Growth with the Singley Lab
DESCRIPTION:Undergraduate researchers from the Singley Lab at Roger Williams University have been investigating meteorology and forest growth patterns at Pardon Gray Preserve. They use a variety of techniques\, including tree ring analysis and environmental sensors\, to study oak trees from the bottom of the hill slope by the vernal pool to the top of the ridge. The public is invited to a conversation on the trail as the researchers explain the preliminary findings and tour the equipment currently installed.
