Fall in love with the furry and feathery farm-animal rescues at West Place Animal Sanctuary in Tiverton. Come for an interactive and guided tour of the sanctuary’s 8-acre property in Tiverton, and meet the farm-animal rescues who call West Place home. Hear their stories, and learn what it takes to care for more than 100 animals of various sizes, shapes, and breeds. Visitors are welcome to picnic on the front lawn, which offers scenic views of the Sakonnet River. The West Place gift shop, which carries specialty items and hand-made crafts, will be open. The Fall Visitors Weekend will be held rain or shine, and tours last 75 to 90 minutes. The cost of a tour is $20 for adults and $15 for children. Registration is recommended. All donations benefit the farm animals and wildlife at West Place Animal Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been serving the region since 2007.
